I’m thinking of making a blog and using Google Adsense to make money for my family.
but I know they pay you by how many clicks you get,
but Can anyone suggest some ideas on what to blog about and get started? and any other ideas I may need?

Typically, you will not make thousands of dollars, but you may be able to make a little spending cash. Making money from ads on the blog is just one way to earn. Also, you can be hired as a blogger (see a list of job boards here: http://www.bloggingtips.com/2008/01/03/the-five-best-pro-blogger-job-boards/ ).

Here’s my advice:
1) Try to develop a purpose(s) for your blog. It’s not mandatory, but you’ll likely need a larger motivator to keep a blog going than a little spending cash. Spend a significant amount of time developing your blog identity. Here are some articles to help:

Question by Lavits: why am i not making any money off this blog? Started yesturday how can I improve it?

I’ve recently started this blog and I read somewhere that by posting these articles that are most searched for I would make minimum 5 dollars a day, I haven’t made anything and it seems like just about every blog I make i never even make a cent from it. What am i doing wrong and how can i improve this blog so i atleast make 1 dollar a day.

did u misspelled your site address? it’s not accessible.
It’s a long way to go before u can monetize it 1 dollar a day. With traffics, u may install the adsense to monetize it. But that takes a lots of traffic.

You may register to CPA networks to help the advertiser to market their products. That could make you some money, but as it’s a business, the profits can be high and low, u can get a guaranteed 1 dollar a day! :)

it takes time and money (for domain). youll probably have a job by the time you have a profitable income from your blog (you need to add alot of news daily)
