As of today the Unfancy Quote plugin as well as the Uploads Folder plugin have been retired. With the Unfancy Quote plugin, its need has long since passed and continuing to maintain it is just not a good use of time. As for the Uploads Folder plugin, the advancements in the Media management in WordPress provide much better solutions. This plugin has low usage but trying to keep the uploads aligned with post name and slug changes, post/page revisions and the like is not a good investment either.
All the Semiologic plugins and themes have been released for compatibility with WordPress 3.9. WordPress 3.9 introduced the Widget Customizer functionality and upgraded the editor to TinyMCE 4.0. These changes required changes for several of the plugins namely Widget Contents, Inline Widgets and Nav Menus.
As for WordPress 3.9, version 3.9.1 was released with 34 fixes but a 3.9.2 is looming with another 17 fixes. This was not one of the prettiest releases for the WordPress team. With 3.9.1 out you are probably ok to go ahead and update now but know you still may encounter some issues, primarily around the editor.
Next look for a Semiologic Reloaded 2.0 Development version to appear with all sorts of new goodies. We needed to get the 3.9 stuff out for obvious reasons.
I've gone ahead and released the 14 free WordPress plugins compatible with WordPress 3.8. These plugins are hosted both here on the Semiologic site in the Software area, as well as, on the WordPress Plugin Directory.
As mentioned in previous posts on this blog, efforts have been underway to bring the Semiologic Theme and Plugins up-to-date with WordPress 3.5. Over the past several weeks I have been releasing the software versions available to Semiologic Pro members. I am pleased to announce that I have released all the plugins excerpt for 2 to work with the latest WordPress 3.5.1 release. The remaining 2 plugins, Mediacaster and Search Reloaded, require some more in depth development work.
The plan will be to finish off the Mediacaster and Search Reloaded plugins and then publish a complete Semiologic Pro download package. After reaching that milestone, I can then focus on adding new functionality and continuing to advance the Semiologic products.

As previously posted I've been working on updating the Semiologic theme and plugins to work with WordPress 3.5. I am happy to announce that I have published the first 14 plugins. These plugins are hosted both here on the Semiologic site in the Software area, as well as, the WordPress Plugin Directory. All the plugins were gone through to remove any PHP warnings and replace any WordPress deprecated functions.
The released 14 plugins, with notable changes, are:
Admin Menu – This broke with WP 3.3. This is fixed now. Caveat is that this only provides the menu on the website. The WordPress Admin Toolbar cannot be removed as of WP 3.3+.
Author Image – Plugin broke with WP 3.5 due to deprecated WP functions no longer working. This is fixed now.
Auto Thickbox – Supports AJAX content. Back port a few other bugs fixed in the Auto Thickbox Plus plugin (props)
Autolink URI- Add support for urls containing colons and port numbers. Autolinking is no longer performed within text enclosed by quotes. This fixed issues with url specified in shortcodes.
Bookmark Me – Refreshed all services to make current with today's most used social sites including Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest.
