Question by polo: How much does an average photographer make these days?
My impressions is that the world is saturated with photographers and I want to make sure my son has a realistic picture of what kind of income he can expect in this field. He has studied photography in college and has some production assistant experience.

I am planning on getting a house for rent with my girlfriend, however we don’t have a lot of income. What is an average utility cost per month for two people? We do not cook a lot, we like to save energy and keep the lights off, and we have a plug in heater, instead of using the central air. We are also not big water users.
We will not need cable, but we would need wi-fi.

electricity, gas, garbage, water and sewer shouldn’t be more than $ 150 per month. cable tv, internet etc. of course will add to those essentials.

Question by HomeSweetSiliconValley: Why do they do studies on how much housewives “should” be paid?
I recalling seeing one that said housewives should earn like over $ 100,000 per year. I certainly agree that they work extremely hard and if they were a non-family member certainly would be worth every penny. But I just don’t understand the purpose of studies like that. In the event of a divorce the wives generally get half and once the husband kicks the bucket they get everything and they share the present income stream and roof. Anyhow – what’s the point of these kinds of studies?

Hello,

My recommendation is to start at least from 100-200$ . Ff you will have less money on your account you need to wait a year to double it.
Your income can depend from your style of trading.
If you will trade manually you can make 100 pips a month. But, for example, if you will use at least semi-automated Forex system that will trade instead of you and can make up to 800 pips it’s completely another situation. When I was started Forex I made the right choice and start automated trading with Forexeasystems.

I am looking at websites that explain how to make money with ppc or affiliate websites but they do not tell you how much they make. Why is that? They say thousands or millions but no website gives exact numbers like, we had 100 visitors and made 3 dollars this month.

Basically, it’s all BS. The only way you could make a good income off a blog website is to like have Yahoo or MSN pick it up. And really, those bloggers are not contributing knowledge for the most part – just their opinions.

My company offers a 401K that I contribute too. I contribute 8% and my company gives me 12% (yes its true. 5% match, plus 7% automatic). My wife does not have a 401K at her job so we opened a traditional IRA………Is there a “goal” percentage of income that we should be setting aside, or is it just however much we can afford? Our ages are 31 and 26 if that helps any.

I don’t know if there is a “standard” for this or not, but I would think you should be putting back a minimum of 10% of your gross. Pay debts with 20%, and live on 70%.

This may sound rude to you but why would i or anyone want to proove you that they have made money… Listen boy google is not a baby so obviously their adsense program makes you money. I made $ 300 a month for around a year on my blogs and sites before i started my business… Yes, you can make good money with affiliate marketing depending upon how many hits (clicks) you get. Advetisers will pay you only when they get a click or lead generated on from your blog… They can pay you anywhere from 1 cent to $ 10,000 per sale depending upon what you are selling or promoting…
